Born in Princetown, MN, and moved all over the Midwest growing up, I currently call Bellevue, Idaho, my home and workplace. An avid enthusiast of adventure and the great outdoors, I find myself engrossed in activities such as hunting, fishing and camping. I also like to call myself my husband's number one cheerleader at demolition derbies.
My lens is often focused on whichever car has the loudest motor and is putting in the hardest hits. I love the adrenaline of demolition derbies, and the sheer joy people experience in their moments of celebration.
A skilled juggler of responsibilities, I gracefully navigate the realms of motherhood, overseeing the pursuits of two lively boys (one being the child and the other is the "adult child"), and steering various business ventures. From running a meticulous bookkeeping business, to cultivating my passion for photography in recent years; my versatile abilities also extend to the Chief Operating Officer at All Seasons Landscaping.
But what drives me? What is my 'Why'? The answer lies in my love for photography. Capturing fleeting moments and encapsulating them within a photograph not only preserves memories for oneself, but also weaves a tapestry of recollections that can be shared with those closest to us.
Initially, my focus was on photographing landscapes, skillfully capturing the ever-changing beauty influenced by the whims of weather and light. Over time, this affection expanded to encompass people, animals, and the exhilaration of sports, primarily demolition derbies. With this evolution, my world broadened, as did my family.
My pursuit revolves around capturing images that encompass the very essence of someone's emotions in those fleeting moments of pure joy.
